The yacht at the center of the murder regarding former Power Ranger actor Skylar Deleon will be put on sale in two weeks, according to reports Friday.
Thomas and Jackie Hawkes lived aboard the 55-foot cabin cruiser Well Deserved. They were murdered on Nov. 15, 2004, while showing the yacht to a man they hoped would be a potential buyer.
Skylar Deleon, 29, along with two co-conspirators, overpowered the Hawkes couple, forced them to sign over ownership of their yacht, then tied them to an anchor and threw them overboard.
Deleon, known to many as the “Power Ranger Killer" or "Power Ranger Murderer,” and four others, including Deleon's wife Jennifer Henderson, were convicted for their roles in the crime.
Deleon was sentenced in April to death by lethal injection. The last defendant was sentenced this week to 20 years in prison.
Four years after the murders, the yacht is being sold for $229,000, said Jerry Wakefield of Dixon Yachts in
On his IMDB profile, it states that Deleon played Roger on an episode of “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” in 1994. He also was an extra on "Second Chance", according to Wikipedia.
