Less than a year after confirming her split from her first husband, Elizabeth Hurley is ready to walk down the aisle again. The model is engaged to Australian cricket star Shane Warne.
Warne popped the question over the weekend in Scotland with a sapphire and diamond ring. The proposal is said to have taken place at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The 42-year-old athlete denied rumors he proposed at dinner.
"I didn't propose in front of 200 people at dinner. It was done privately and was very romantic – if I say so myself," he Tweeted. "Ps left knee is sore !!!"
The couple also thanked fans for well wishes. “Thanks for all your congratulations," they both Tweeted.
Hurley, 46, and Warne were first linked late last year while they were both still married; Hurley to businessman Arun Nayer and Warne to Simone Callahan.
