Every young child always dreams about having a bigger and better life. Bob C. Burns was a boy with big dreams. Not only does he make his dream come true, but he enables thousands of others to achieve their dreams. He truly accomplished the American Dream to make it big.
The story starts out when a boy of eleven looks out on the cotton fields, pondering the ‘what ifs’ of his life. Little did he know what he would become, and what kind of legacy he would leave behind. He did not know of the paths he would create, or the standards he would set.
Bob was persuaded by a former member of the Board of Trustees at NWACC to write this story, but his inspiration came from his own hard-learned lessons. He believes that “every life has potential, no matter the past.” And so, he went on to write this vivid, and ‘inspirational story,’ “An American Dream Comes True.”
