Subway Trains Collide in Washington D.C., One Confirmed Dead, Several Injured

At least one person has died and several more left injured after two subway trains collided in Washington D.C. on Monday evening.

 

The subway crash occurred above ground near Takoma Park. There have been no reports on what caused the collision.

 

Firefighters and rescue crews on the scene have said they expect the casualties to rise.
