Tuesday’s elimination results on Dancing with the Stars came as a shock to fans and the unlucky star that was sent packing. The bottom three couples were Carson Kressley, Hope Solo and Kristin Cavallari.
Kressly, who scored 23 out of 30 points Monday night for his tango, was the first to be declared safe, leaving the elimination between Solo and Cavallari. Both women earned 24 points for their performances and were considered judge favorites. Judge Len Goodman admitted he was shocked at the bottom two results. “This is truly crazy!" he said. "My expectations was that these two couples would be fighting in the finals. This is week three and one of these is going home. It's madness!"
In the end, Cavallari was sent packing. “I’m a little surprised to be honest,” she told Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke. “It’s been suck a great time. You know, it is what it is!”
Cavallari’s partner Mark Ballas said he was “really proud” of the former Hills star. “She had great potential and she killed it last night. I’m honored to be her partner,” he said.
