Agricultural University Zamorano to Host Symposium

Leading agricultural university, Zamorano, will host a symposium on November 18-19, 2011 to examine the impact of its scholarship program funded by the Nippon Foundation. The scholarship program began in 2000 and is concluding with this year’s 2011 graduates. The symposium will take place at the Zamorano University Campus.

The Nippon Foundation sponsors higher education scholarships for youth from various countries. The event will also assess the scholarship program’s impact on scholars’ education, professional and personal lives, as well as impact on the region and beyond.

Symposium participants include leaders in sustainable agricultural development from major public and private institutions and Zamorano graduates who excelled in their studies and achieved professional success in the agriculture sector.
