Academic Summer Camps Put Joy Back into Learning

The energetic, exciting experience of SuperCamp academic summer camps is renowned for providing an environment where teens can re-connect with all the positive qualities that were instilled into them as children. SuperCamp re-establishes the respect, motivation, positive energy, kindness, inner peace, and personal goals that teens once had before they realized it might be ‘un-cool.’

SuperCamp’s 10-day youth development programs allow teens the opportunity to learn about themselves on numerous levels. Through the highly trained and structured facilitation of experiences at SuperCamp, techniques and concepts are explored and discovered that increase
academic achievement and make learning easy and fun.

Assisted by the continuous support of the professional staff and their peers, small and large group learning takes place in a meticulously orchestrated environment. Here, teens learn HOW to learn. They discover how to successfully interact with peers, parents, and teachers and they also experience the process of setting person goals and the thrill of accomplishment when their goals are achieved.

SuperCamp co-founder Bobbi DePorter, along with the entire professional staff that continue to carry on her vision each summer, truly believe and live by the mission of these summer camp programs and their ideals. The 28-year-old program is an international model of excellence that facilitates a shift in learning, resulting in creative, educated, responsible people participating in the global community.

Lasting impressions are what SuperCamp does best. Upon graduation, the potential for individual success with school, college, professional, and adult life is at each and every student’s fingertips.

SuperCamp gains its success by upholding an environment with resources dedicated to lifelong learning and personal growth. Once students graduate from the 10-day program, they have had the opportunity to gain the tools and resources which, when applied, will allow them to achieve ultimate success in school and in life.

SuperCamp is hosted on seven college campuses across the country in California, Washington, Colorado, Iowa, New York, and North Carolina. Sessions are filling up quickly for the 2009 summer season, so parents are encouraged to enroll their son or daughter right away.
