A Guide For Developing A Common Sense Lifestyle

Between work issues and dieting, or parenting and marriage, it’s sometimes hard to find balance in one’s life.  Who knows better, then, how to balance such situations than one who is a school principal, a mom, and a minister’s wife? Gail Marten is a principal for an online school for grades 3-12. She is not only an administrator, but she is also the mother of three daughters and has been in ministry with her husband for over two decades.

Gail has found a common sense way to balance her life. In her first book, “It’s All About Balance,” she shares with the reader a way to balance and improve one’s lifestyle. This practical guide lays a path for anyone who needs a little help staying out of the ditches found in day-to-day life.

Gail has found many ways to balance the different parts of her busy life and shares her findings in this book. Inspired by Joyce Meyer, another common-sense author and minister, she wrote this guide for practical living.  She said, “I felt a sense of relief when my book was finished, having completed a very specific assignment from God.”

“After listening to friends and colleagues talk about successes and failures over the years, the idea of this book was dropped into my heart. I have seen parents cry over children in whom they had instilled excellent principles, only to see their children run from their family’s lifestyle at the first opportunity for “freedom.” I have seen excellent employees leave jobs that they loved only because the person in charge operated as a dictator rather than a mentor. I have seen friends lose many pounds with a drastic diet, only to see them put the weight back on shortly after returning to more comfortable eating habits. I believe leading a balanced life is not necessarily the easiest road, but it can bring the most satisfaction and the best results. I wrote this book to help every reader find a more balanced, practical lifestyle.” – Gail Marten
