Paul McCartney wed for the third time over the weekend. The Beatles singer and New York businesswoman Nancy Shevell tied the knot Sunday in a small ceremony at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London.
The bride wore a long-sleeved, knee-length ivory gown designed by McCartney’s daughter, Stella McCartney. McCartney wore a navy blue suit designed by his daughter. Guests included Barbara Walters, Ringo Starr and wife Barbara Bach, McCartney’s brother Mike and Shevell’s son Arlen.
"It was terrific – thank you!" McCartney told the crowd gathered outside Town Hall after the ceremony.
The newlyweds and their guests made their way to McCartney’s home in the St. John's Wood neighborhood for the wedding reception.
This is the third marriage for McCartney, 69, and the second for Shevell, 51. McCartney’s was married to first wife Linda Eastman for 29 years until her death in 1998. He was then married to Heather Mills from 2002 to 2008.
