The Thing, starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Edgerton, Jonathan Walker, Kim Bubbs and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, opens in theaters Friday, October 14. The sci-fi horror film tells the story of a group of an international science team that unearths the body of an alien in Antarctica. Once thawed, the alien begins to assume the appearance of its prey - meaning the creature could be inside some or all of the researchers.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 49 minutes and is rated R for strong creature violence and gore, disturbing images and language.
