Securus Payments Donates To Support Wounded Soldiers & Their Families

SECURUS PAYMENTS DONATES $1,500 A MONTH TO M.O.P.H (Military Order of the Purple Heart) PORTLAND CHAPTER 72

Securus Payments has committed to donating a portion of monthly revenue to the local M.O.P.H  (Military Order of the Purple Heart) chapter 72. To start, they’ll give an initial donation of $1,500 in hopes that the group will be able to begin adding events, projects and helping disabled veterans with such needs as medical assistance and holiday expenses. The group’s focus is staying true to its mission – giving support to disabled veterans.  The initial donation will be made on (10/11/11 @9am) where Securus Payments founders: Steven Lemma - CEO & President - Mychol Robirds will present a check to Tony Couch - M.O.P.H Chapter 72 Commander at Securus Payments headquarters.

Chapter 72 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart is located in Portland, Oregon. The M.O.P.H. is a veterans service organization chartered by Congress. Every member is a veteran who has been wounded in combat and awarded a Purple Heart. Their National Headquarters is located in Springfield, Virginia. The Order now includes about 43,000 total members, organized into 6 geographical Regions, 49 State Departments and 499 Chapters. The Oregon Department currently has just over 400 members. Chapter 72 has 194 members.
