Atlanta Hawks Close to Jamal Crawford Trade with Golden State Warriors

The Atlanta Hawks are close to a trade that will land them Jamal Crawford, according to reports on Wednesday.

The Hawks are in negotiations with the Golden State Warriors to receive Crawford for Acie Law and Speedy Claxton.

According to ESPN.com, the deal is being held up because Atlanta coach Mike Woodson isn't sold on the trade and because Crawford has an early termination clause in his contract.

It is unsure what Crawford's addition will do to the team's chances of resigning Mike Bibby, who will soon enter free agency. It is also uncertain who the Hawks will select with their first round pick in the NBA Draft on Thursday. It was rumored that they needed a point guard, but Crawford can play both guard positions.
