Summer Enrichment Program Picks Up Where Most Schools Leave Off

Schools today are usually great at teaching students curriculum, but do they actually teach students how to learn?  SuperCamp’s summer enrichment programs fill in the learning gaps that school budget cutbacks, time constraints, and training commitments for standardized testing, leave out. As a result, SuperCamp’s summer enrichment camps are facing an unprecedented demand from parents wanting to give their teens summer enrichment to help them succeed through the school year.

The summer enrichment programs SuperCamp offers complement school curriculum by addressing enhanced reading, writing, problem-solving, critical-thinking, memory and study skills learning that they otherwise don’t receive in the traditional school setting. SuperCamp provides kids and teens with
life skills techniques that help students with communication, leadership, team-building, time management, and more.

Since SuperCamp’s launch in 1982, over 50,000 students have graduated the high-energy program. These graduates then head home to one of the over 30 countries they come to camp from with a radical shift in academic performance, confidence, and motivation.

SuperCamp offers programs for students entering grades 6-12 and college on seven unique college campuses across the country, including Stanford, Cornell, and Wake Forest Universities.

Students entering grades 6-8 in the fall are invited into the Junior Forum program where students learn team-building, communication, and academic skills to help them navigate their way through the awkward middle school experience.

Teens entering grades 9 -12 can experience Senior Forum, a
teen summer camp designed to build leadership skills, self-confidence, and academic skills to better prepare students for college.

College-bound students learn valuable skills to help them navigate the college experience including time management, personal finance, and stress management.

These summer enrichment programs are filling up quickly for the 2009 summer season. Parents interested in enrolling their son or daughter should visit www.SuperCamp.com or call 800-285-3276 immediately to reserve their spot.
