16 zombies injured on Resident Evil movie set

To paramedics arriving on the scene of an accident, the site looked like massive carnage had taken place, however they were just zombie extras filming the newest installment of the “Resident Evil” motion picture franchise.

The accident took place Tuesday when a wheeled platform moved while the zombies were passing onto another platform. Many of the extras fell between the two platforms, which were about two stories high.

Spokesman for Toronto emergency medical, Peter Macintyre, stated that the costumes made it difficult for emergency crews to assess the extent of the injuries.

Many different working environments can lead to injuries, and an accident attorney will help these workers receive settlements that will help them pay their hospital bills.

Twelve of the zombies were taken to the hospital, but authorities have stated that none of the injuries are life-threatening. Most of the zombie suffered from neck, back and leg injuries, a few had broken bones.

Police constable Tony Vella said that it is being treated as an industrial accident and is currently under investigation.

This is an unusual workplace accident, but people are injured while on the job with regularity. With the diligent assistance of an accident lawyer, workers can seek compensation from their employers of they were negligent in protection their employees.

In many circumstances, employees do not effectively train or assure an employee’s safety, though this doesn’t appear to be the case in this instance.  Also, employers may cut corners and put their employees at risk, if this is the case, an accident attorney will be able to seek compensation of the injured individuals.
