Celebrities and Charities Team Up For Team Escalade Texas Videos

Vote, Share, Act and Make a Difference in Lives in Less Than Two Minutes

Six teams, 19 celebrities, four cities and one bold drive to change lives! In less than two minutes you can change a life. Texas celebrity athletes have teamed up with the charities for one of six new, 90-second public service announcements (PSAs) produced by Team Escalade Texas. The public is encouraged to log on to TeamEscaladeTexas.com to view the PSAs and cast votes for their favorite. Voting ends at midnight, October 30, 2011. The winning charity will receive an advertising package worth $150,000.

Take a few minutes to watch the videos and learn more about each charity. Ask family and friends to watch the videos. Then Vote, Share, Act.

Cure Duchenne – For former football players Daryl Johnston, Rocket Ismail and Dan Pastorini, muscle was part of the job. In this video of kids just being kids, they are joined by other celebrities to bring attention and hope for a cure for Duchenne, a muscular disease affecting children. (http://www.cureduchenne.org)

Taylor’s Gift Foundation – This short video’s message is simple: With just a few keystrokes and a couple of clicks, you can sign up to be an organ donor and save someone’s life. Organ donor and former Dallas Cowboys player Everson Walls tells his own personal transplant story (http://www.taylorsgift.org)

Love Hope Strength – Dallas Stars Mike Modano and Brent Severyn encourage you to sign up for the bone marrow registry, and members of several bands demonstrate how easy it is to do so with a quick swab of the mouth. Ronald McDonald House Charities – Also known as The Red Shoes for Men – watch to find out what that means, this video features former Dallas Cowboys Randy White and Jay Novacek. The charity whose video receives the most votes as of midnight, October 30, will win an advertising package worth $150,000 from Texas Cadillac Dealers and help bring more attention to their charity.
