Herman Caine aide accuses reporter of sexual harassment

A senior aid for Herman Caine’s campaign accused a reporter for the Miami Herald of sexual harassment. Jeffery ‘JD’ Gordon who works as Caine’s chief spokesperson and a senior foreign policy advisor for his campaign came forward with the allegations in 2009.

Gordon wrote a letter the Miami Herald to inform them that their military affairs correspondent, Carol Rosenberg, had been verbally sexually harassing him and other service members, according to the Daily Caller. Gordon’s letter requested the paper do a thorough investigation into his allegations. The letter was a way for Gordon tom handle the situation in house. Many victims of harassment deal with it in court aided by a sexual harassment lawyer.

In the letter Gordon stated that Rosenberg subject him to multiple incidents of verbal sexual harassment and in one incident she asked him if he had used a “red hot poker” in a sexual situation and asked if he enjoyed it. She also once asked him if he was homosexual when she saw him with hi aide.

The Miami Herald investigated the allegation in Gordon’s letter and could not corroborate the events. Other reporters defended Rosenberg and no legal recourse was taken against her.

In these incidents, a sexual harassment lawyer will thoroughly investigate any allegation to build a strong case.

Ending workplace harassment is the main objective of sexual harassment lawyers and they apply their expertise to any case.
