Michael Jackson Reportedly Pronounced Dead After Cardiac Arrest

Michael Jackson, the world-famous pop star, was pronounced dead after suffering a cardiac arrest on Thursday afternoon. He was 50.

Jackson was hospitalized after an ambulance responded to a call from his Holmby Hills home at 12:21 pm PT. Jackson was in “really bad shape,” an unspecified family member told TMZ, while Jackson’s father Joe told the site, “He is not doing well.”

Jackson was rushed to UCLA Medical Center where he was in a coma and was reportedly "near death". According to MSNBC, he has officially died

TMZ reported his death earlier, but it was not confirmed.
