MELLOY DODGE JOINS RAM TRUCKS’ HISPANIC CAMPAIGN

Comprehensive Ad Campaign Targets Top 15 Hispanic Markets

Melloy Dodge, Albuquerque, New Mexico’s trusted and respected Dodge Ram vehicle dealership, auto finance team, and certified service department, announced today their participation in Ram Trucks’ new comprehensive ad campaign targeting the top 15 Hispanic markets in both Spanish and English.

Starting October 3 in various US markets, Chrysler Group LLC began a new campaign, including not only traditional media outlets such as radio, TV, and print, but it will also feature digital media. This campaign consists of 30-second TV spots as well as 60-second radio ads and print ads with a focus on both brand and product. This media buy will run through the first quarter of 2012.

The TV spots are being featured on outlets, such as Telemundo and Univision. These new Ram Trucks commercial spots were filmed in Texas and consist of unscripted, real-life testimonials given by bilingual Ram Truck owners. The prints ads are appearing in local Spanish-language newspapers as well as in national publications, such as Hispanic Business, ESPN La Revista and Automundo. The radio spots are running locally in Albuquerque as well as nationally in a total of 15 markets. Ads from this campaign are being featured on Spanish language websites. Additionally, Ram also recently launched a Spanish-language brand website, http://es.ramtrucks.com.

Large pickup trucks, particularly the Dodge Ram 1500 and Dodge Ram 2500, staples on the Melloy Dodge lot, are top-sellers among Latinos. This ad campaign has been specifically produced with the Hispanic market in mind and features the slogan, “A Todo, Con Todo” (Translation: “To everything, with everything”). Fred Diaz, president and CEO, Ram Truck Brand and Chrysler de Mexico, Chrysler Group LLC, feels this slogan is especially appropriate both for Ram and for the Hispanic consumer.
