Oranges and Sunshine, starring Hugo Weaving, Emily Watson, David Wenham, Tara Morice and Lorraine Ashbourne, opens in theaters Friday, October 21. The drama tells the true story of how social worker Margaret Humphreys uncovered a UK government scheme that deported thousands of poor British children to Australia and other commonwealth countries. Humphreys exposed the scandal and reunited thousands of children with their families.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 45 minutes and is rated R for strong language.
