Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky tells People magazine she has no immediate plans to tie the knot with fiancé Roberto Martinez. The couple, who has been engaged for over a year, was set to be married in August, but plans had to be put on hold because Fedotowsky underwent knee surgery. The 27-year-old now admits they have scrapped the wedding altogether because they “don’t feel the need” to wed.
"At this point we're not planning a wedding. Does that mean we're fighting? No. Does that mean we're miserable? Absolutely not!” she tells People.
"When we actually did have a date that worked for us [last August], I found out that I had to have knee surgery," Fedotowsky explains. "No wedding is simple but this wedding is even more complicated."
"We're still engaged; we're still living together," she adds. "We just don't feel the need to walk down the aisle right now."
As for their plans right now, Fedotowsky hopes to land a show with Style Network and Martinez is setting up his own State Farm insurance office.
