Actor Michael Weatherly, who plays Special Agent DiNozzo in the popular series NCIS, was involved in a car accident last year that totaled his car. And now the other person involved in the accident is seeking compensation, which may be possible if he has a skilled accident attorney.
The accident occurred last October, when Weatherly was driving his Mercedes Benz and collided with a BMW when the lanes they were driving in merged. The BMW crashed into a pole. The two amicably exchanged information at the time of the accident and Weatherly admitted he was at fault. An ambulance was called to the scene but left without any passengers.

The driver of the BMW, Ivan Romeo Mendez, was injured in the accident and is asking for $80,000 in damages to cover his medical costs. Mendez suffered from a neck injury which forced his to have a procedure that severs nerves in the spinal cord. He stated that he is still suffering from the accident.
In addition to his medical expenses, Mendez is seeking compensation for lost wages, general damage, property damage and loss of earning capacity.
Weatherly has not made a comment.
