Massachusetts Man Suffers Fatal Injuries in Truck Crash

A Quincy city worker, who was working on a traffic light, was fatally wounded when a tractor trailer struck the bucket truck he was working and he fell to the ground.

The accident took place shortly after 10am on Wednesday at the intersection of Chubbuck and Washington Streets.

Robert DeCristofaro, 58, was working out of the bucket truck when a tractor trailer traveling southbound struck his vehicle. The impact caused him to fall to the ground. He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Representing any client involved in a truck accident whether they are plaintiffs or defendants requires a truck accident attorney who has specialized knowledge.

The driver of the tractor-trailer stopped after the accident and remained on the scene. The truck was owned by the Bridgestone Tire Company.

Witnesses have stated that there were no police or a flagman to direct traffic around the crash site.

OSHA came to the scene. The investigation is currently underway.

Determining exactly who is at fault in these incidents can be difficult for a truck accident attorney.
It will take a great deal of investigation to determine who is at fault when a number of factors could have prevented a tragedy.

When negligence is determined it will be a truck accident lawyer’s main objective to assure that the accident victims are fairly compensated for their injuries or property damage.
