Green Bay Packers Rally to Defeat Minnesota Vikings and Christian Ponder

The Green Bay Packers have shown that they can play a tough game this year without flinching. The defending champions know their team is good, but they may have overlooked this weeks game with the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have only won a single game, but with rookie Christian Ponder starting, gave the Packers all they could handle before eventually losing 33-27.

Aaron Rodgers threw for 335 yards and three touchdowns for the Packers to help them counter the production from Ponder and running back Adrian Peterson. Ponder was intercepted twice by Charles Woodson in the third quarter, but showed promise with a 71-yard pass on his first snap as a starter. Peterson ran 24 times for 175 yards and a touchdown.

Packers kicker Mason Crosby accounted for 12 points himself as he hit four field goals, including a 58-yard shot that gave him the franchise record. The Packers are still undefeated and firmly in control of their season.
