Jacksonville Jaguars Stun Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football

The Monday Night Football schedule is going through a period of laughable games. At least that is what people thought. Last night the heavily favored Baltimore Ravens and their vaunted defense went into Jacksonville to battle the Jaguars and their rookie quarterback, Blaine Gabbert, and walked off the field at the end of the night with their second loss of the season.

Maurice Jones-Drew and kicker Josh Scobee did the lion's share of the work for the Jaguars offense. Jones-Drew ran for 105 yards while Scobee accounted for all 12 of Jacksonville's points with four field goals. Baltimore's defense surrender its first 100 yard rushing game since December last year but held Gabbert to only 93 yards through the air.

The game ball for the Jags should go to their defense. They only allowed 16 yards in the first half, 15 of which were rushing yards. They also held the Ravens stellar running back Ray Rice to 28 yards rushing on only eight carries and one fumble.

The defense iced the game in the fourth quarter when Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco threw an interception that allowed Jacksonville to run out the clock and complete the upset.
