Coroners have determined there was no foul-play involved in the death of Michael Jackson yet further tests have been ordered to try and piece together what exactly killed the 50-year-old pop superstar.
Toxicology reports could take several weeks but may very well reveal what caused Jackson to go into cardiac arrest on Thursday afternoon. Rumors surrounding a possible addiction to pain medication have been rampant as Jackson had been said to be lethargic in the days prior to his death.
Jackson was preparing for his massive concert run at London’s O2 arena beginning in July and many said he was feeling enormous stress and suffering from intense back pain, possibly contributing to addiction.
According to the coroners’ there was no indication of external trauma to Jackson’s body yet they didn’t reveal a cause of death in their report.
The three-hour post-mortem was completed on Friday and Jackson’s body was then released to his family. There have been no reports on funeral arrangements
