Intelligent InSites Shares Best Practices for Delivering Hard-Dollar ROI with RFID and RTLS Solutions

Intelligent InSites Inc., the leading provider of enterprise RTLS software helping hospitals improve patient satisfaction and operational performance while supporting multiple RTLS technologies, has been invited by the New England Society of Clinical Engineering (NESCE) to share its expertise on RFID and RTLS (Real-Time Location Systems) in healthcare during the Northeastern Healthcare Technology Symposium, held November 3 - 4, 2011, at the Mystic Marriot Hotel and Spa in Groton, Connecticut.

The session, entitled Getting the Most out of an RFID/RTLS Implementation, is scheduled for Thursday, November 3, 2011, from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. EDT.

Session participants will discover the enterprise-wide benefits of RFID and RTLS solutions, how to select the right RTLS solution, and how to measure and achieve post-implementation success and true return-on-investment (ROI).

“Effectively managing medical equipment in hospitals can be challenging,” said Marcus Ruark, Vice President of Marketing at Intelligent InSites, who will represent the company at the symposium. “However, with the real-time information and actionable intelligence provided by today’s enterprise RTLS software, hospitals can achieve substantial hard-dollar cost savings and increase value added time for hospital staff, ultimately resulting in improved patient safety and patient satisfaction.”

“There is no doubt, among the clinical engineering community, that the use of RTLS technologies can dramatically eliminate inefficiencies in managing assets in hospitals,” said Carlos Pina, sales executive at the Unitech Sound & Security Systems and a member of the New England Society of Clinical Engineering. “We are excited to draw on Intelligent InSites’ RTLS solutions and expertise to establish best practices for implementing and using RFID and RTLS in the hospital environment.”

Clinical engineering professionals can learn more about the InSites Asset Management solution—and ensuring enterprise-wide RTLS success—in the Unitech Sound & Security Systems’ booth (booth #38). Online registration for the Northeastern Healthcare Technology Symposium is available at https://nesce.org/symposium/.
