Pastor Brown, starring Salli Richardson Whitfield, Nicole Ari Parker, Keith David, Michael B. Jordan and Ernie Hudson, opens in theaters Tuesday, October 25. The drama centers on an exotic dancer whose life is turned upside down after her terminally ill father asks her to take over as head pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She is faced with numerous challenges, including a jealous sister, an ambitious associate pastor and her growing love for an Islamic man.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 36 minutes and is rated PG 13 for thematic material involving sexuality and some language.
