Anthology, San Diego’s world class contemporary supper club, renowned for its premier dining and live music will soon be known for brunch too. On Sunday, November 6, Anthology will host a special “pink” brunch to raise awareness and funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Diego and to celebrate with those who participated in the Race for the Cure being held at Balboa Park that same morning.

Anthology will donate proceeds from ALL Eye Opener drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Everything will be pink! The brunch entrees range from $8 to $18 and all ages are welcome.

Date/Time:  Sunday, November 6, 2011, 10am to 1:30pm

The menu boasts savory and sweet flavors with subtle notes and robust flavors created by Anthology’s Executive Chef Todd Allison. Farm fresh, locally grown ingredients make for California Cuisine – brunch menu highlights include Dungeness Crab Benedict, Banana Nut Buttermilk Short Stack, and the Fried Egg Sandwich with two Fried Eggs, Serrano Ham, Swiss Cheese, Wild Arugula, Caramelized Onion Aioli on Grilled Sourdough.  Of course, it wouldn’t be a brunch without some Eye Openers, including Anthology’s Signature Bloody Mary, The 20/20, and more. Stay tuned for the next brunch on New Year’s Day.

Eight years ago, owner of Anthology Marsha Berkson lost her mother to breast cancer. This is Berkson’s second year hosting events to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Diego. She wanted to bring people together to create personal connections and conversation about breast cancer to celebrate the people who are getting involved to make a difference.

The next event she’s hosting is Girls Night Out Step It Up for Pink on Thursday, November 17 at 5:30pm. Polyester Express, San Diego’s favorite 70’s and 80’s tribute band will perform.
