Herman Cain’s Campaign Addresses Sexual Harassment Accusations

GOP candidate, Herman Cain has been getting a lot of publicity, which has been bad and good, and now he is facing the very serious allegation of sexual harassment on two women in the 90's.

Politico reported Sunday evening that while Cain served as the head of the National Restaurant Association, at least two women complained that Cain acted in a sexually inappropriate manner. The women complained to colleagues and senior officials about Cain’s behavior, according to multiple unnamed sources, reporting to Politico.

The sources also stated that the two women were later given a financial payout and asked to leave the association. The agreement also stated that they could not discuss the reason for their departure.

It often takes litigation, involving sexual harassment attorneys, for the victims to receive financial settlement.

Herman Cain spokesman J.D. Gordon, told the Associated Press, that the allegations were “thinly” based. And he denies that Cain engaged in sexually inappropriate behavior. In a Monday morning speech to discuss his 9-9-9 tax plan, Caine dodged questions about the Politico story.

Most allegations of sexual harassment go unreported and are often ignored by supervisors. Employees who are harassed must turn to an accomplished sexual harassment lawyer to make their companies address the abuse.

The people, who are harassed, face losing their jobs simply because they report the behavior; these employees lose income and face emotional issues. Retaliation, though forbidden, is a common practice and sexual harassment lawyers are a needed assets to employees subjected to this behavior.
