Jessica Simpson made a special announcement on Halloween. Dressed up as a mummy, the singer Tweeted a picture of herself cradling her baby bump and confirmed she is pregnant.
“It’s true – I’m going to be a mummy!” she wrote.
Simpson’s announcement comes after weeks of speculation and rumors that accompanied pictures of her showing off her belly in form-fitting clothes. The baby will be the first child for Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson. The couple was engaged in November 2010 after just 6 months of dating. At the time, Simpson said she could “definitely” see herself starting a family with Johnston.
Meanwhile, Simpson’s ex-boyfriend Tony Romo announced last week that his wife of 5 months, former Miss Missouri Candice Crawford, is pregnant with their first child.
