Rihanna was forced to cancel a Monday concert in Malmo, Sweden after being hospitalized with the flu. The singer apologized to fans for the cancellation in a statement to Us Weekly magazine.
"I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo, Sweden. I was so excited to perform for you all. It would have been a great time ... so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I'm really disappointed I couldn't be there," the 23-year-old said.
Rihanna also tweeted a photo of herself with an IV drip. “Sorry Malmo!” she wrote.
It is unclear if the singer will also cancel a Tuesday concert in Stockholm. Her sixth album, Talk That Talk, will be released on November 21.
