Justin Bieber is determined to keep his focus on music amid accusations that he fathered a baby with a 20-year-old California woman.
“All the rumors...the gossip....Im gonna focus on the positives....the music,” he Tweeted Wednesday.
Bieber’s tweet comes after Star magazine obtained court documents in which Mariah Yeater requests the ‘Baby’ hit-maker be forced to take a paternity test to prove her claim that he is the father of her 3-month-old son Tristyn. Yeater claims she had sex with Bieber on October 25, 2010 after one of the singer’s body guards approached her with an offer to meet him backstage after his performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
"On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber. Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby,” Yeater says.
A rep for Bieber denied Yeater’s claims. "While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations,” the rep said.
