Justin Bieber has set the record straight regarding claims he fathered a baby with a 20-year-old California woman. Speaking on the Today show Friday, Bieber said none of the claims made by Mariah Yeater are true.
"Never met the woman. I'd just like to say, basically, that none of those allegations are true," Bieber said. "I know that I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim.”
Yeater filed a lawsuit Monday requesting Bieber, 17, be forced to take a paternity test to prove her claim that he is the father of her 3-month-old son Tristyn. Yeater says she had sex with Bieber on October 25, 2010 after one of the singer’s body guards approached her with an offer to meet him backstage after his performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
"On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber. Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby,” Yeater claims.
