Kris Humphries stepped out in Minnesota without his wedding ring on Thursday, three days after wife Kim Kardashian filed for divorce. Although Humphries previously said he remained “committed” to Kardashian, the absence of his wedding ring seems to indicate his acceptance of the marriage being over.
Meanwhile, Kardashian flew back to the U.S. Friday after a brief trip to Australia where she made appearances to promote her Kardashian Kollection handbag line. Although she appeared somber and rarely smiled, Kardashian did not shy away from answering questions about her divorce. In an interview on Sunrise, the 31-year-old said she followed her “intuition” when it came leaving Humphries.
“I think when you know so deep in your heart that you just have to listen to your intuition and follow your heart, there’s no right or wrong thing to do, so I really believe that,” she said.
As for all the media attention surrounding her split, Kardashian said she is bothered most by rumors about making money off her wedding. “I think what really upsets me most is there has been, from the start, so many rumors of money and dollar signs of all these things thrown up in the air… and so much of it not being true. It’s kind of what you get for living your life so publicly on a reality show. I get that… but I think that also just teaches me I kind of want to step back a little bit,” she said.
