Justin Bieber has reportedly agreed to take a paternity test to prove he did not father a baby with a California woman. A source tells People magazine the 17-year-old will take the DNA test next week when he returns from a trip to Europe.
The news comes a week after 20-year-old Mariah Yeater filed a lawsuit claiming Bieber is the father of her 3-month-old son Tristyn. Yeater, who is seeking child support, claims she had sex with the pop star in a bathroom at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on October 25, 2010. "On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber. Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby,” she said in court documents.
Bieber has denied all of Yeater’s allegations. "It's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We'll vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to protect Justin and to hold those involved with bringing this suit accountable for their actions,” his rep told People magazine.
