Piers Morgan is no longer a judge on America’s Got Talent. He announced his departure from the reality TV competition on Wednesday night, explaining he wants to focus on his CNN talk show Piers Morgan Tonight.
"I’m leaving America’s Got Talent after 6 wonderful years. Turned out that juggling's harder than it looks, so I'm going to focus on CNN," the 46-year-old Tweeted.
Morgan has been a judge on America’s Got Talent since 2006 and was the last remaining original judge. It is unclear who will replace him at the judges table when the next season kicks off in 2012. Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel are expected to return along with host Nick Cannon.
"And congrats to @MrsSOsbourne @howiemmandel & @NickCannon – you don't have to put up with me any more!” Morgan added.
