Bachelor Pad runners up Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl have ended their 8 month relationship. In separate Tweets over the weekend, the pair confirmed their split and insisted it was amicable.
“Yes vienna and I have split. It’s been 5 weeks now,” Kahl wrote on Sunday. “I can’t fake it anymore. I will always love, be there for her, and wish her the best.”
Girardi wrote, “@KaseyRKahl will always be my best friend, but yes we have split. No idea what the future holds for us but we will always remain friends.”
Her rep also spoke out about the breakup. "Vienna pulled the plug from her relationship with Kasey after a week from moving back home and dealing with a death in a family," the rep told E! News.
Girardi, 25, began dating Kahl, 27, in March, nearly a year after her bitter split from Bachelor star Jake Pavelka. She and Pavelka were engaged on the season 14 finale of The Bachelor, but called it quits in June 2010. Kahl previously appeared on Ali Fedotowsky’s season of The Bachelorette. He was sent packing in episode 5. Girardi and Kahl then competed together on Bachelor Pad 2 over the summer. They lost to Holly Durst and Michael Stagliano.
