Twenty Years of Specialist Metal Fabrication Success From MayFlower Engineering

Based in Sheffield, Mayflower Engineering is one of just a few companies in the country to provide customers with a full design service, which includes manufacture, assembly, testing and installation, through to project completion.

They are also holders of the highly coveted BS EN ISO 3834 Welding Quality Standard, setting them apart from the rest, as the qualification is something that’s held by less than thirty companies in the UK.

Mayflower Engineering’s capability to offer bespoke, one-off designs is supplemented by the ability to operate a fast track basis, responding and undertaking to both design and specialist fabrication projects on a 24 hour, seven days a week basis if required.

With a factory floor space of approximately 40,000 square feet, Mayflower Engineering’s highly experienced fabricators/platers and welders are able to manufacture a wide and complex range of metal fabrications, whether based on the clients own designs and drawings or those created by Mayflower’s in-house design team.

Mr Hobson continued: “Many of our skills have been honed over decades. That makes us different as there are very few specialist fabrication projects that we couldn’t undertake successfully".
