Bradley Cooper has joined the ranks of George Clooney and Johnny Depp as People magazine’s new Sexiest Man Alive. The Hangover actor tells the magazine that his first thought after hearing about his new title was, “'My mother is going to be so happy.'”
"I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this [title]," the 36-year-old said. "I think I'm a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying.”
Despite being one of Hollywood’s most sought-after bachelors, Cooper says he does not play the field when it comes to dating. "If you're a single man and you happen to be in this business you're deemed a player. But I don't see myself as a ladies' man,” he said.
Cooper also notes that he is currently single, putting to rest rumors of a romance with the newly-single Jennifer Lopez. He most recently dated Renee Zellweger. Their 2-year relationship ended in March.
