SafeAuto’s Presence Felt By Millions During UFC’s Network TV Debut on FOX

SafeAuto Insurance, a state-minimum auto insurance specialist based in Columbus, Ohio, is proud to be an official sponsor of the UFC®. On Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, SafeAuto’s presence was seen throughout the world as the UFC® made their historical network television debut on FOX.

As sponsors for the bout, the red SafeAuto logo was present throughout the Octagon®. Additionally, Clay “The Carpenter” Guida represented the SafeAuto Fight Team as he took on Ben Henderson in the co-main event. While Guida lost the bout via unanimous decision, the fight was certainly a crowd pleaser and will be under consideration for “Fight of the Year” honors.

"SafeAuto has been a huge support system in my career since they entered the Octagon,” remarked Guida. “It's an honor to be a part of their team.”

SafeAuto has good reason to embrace their sponsorship of the UFC. Recently, Clay Guida was featured in an advertising campaign for the insurance company, while over 30 fighters have represented SafeAuto Insurance in the Octagon. SafeAuto has also conducted nationwide competitions on Facebook for “VIP” trips to UFC fights and routinely posts behind-the-scenes videos that feature fighters.

“UFC fans are recognizing SafeAuto Insurance on a national level because of our affiliation with the sport,” said SafeAuto President Jon Diamond. “Having such a large presence on the UFC’s network television debut on Fox is something we were extremely excited to be a part of!”

SafeAuto’s presence was certainly felt by millions of people last Saturday. Its logo was extremely visible as Junior dos Santos defeated Cain Velasquez via knockout right next to the famous SA insignia. Clay “The Carpenter” Guida also represented SafeAuto with honor in his classic fight. SafeAuto was proud to be a part of the largest audience ever to watch an MMA show in the United States.
