U.S. officials arrested the star of A&E’s popular reality show “Dog the Bounty Hunter”, Duane Dog Chapman, along with his son and another man from his bounty hunting crew.
The three face charges in Mexico, where bounty hunting is considered a crime, not a television drama. In 2003, the trio was in Mexico to hunt Andrew Luster, the Max Factor cosmetics heir. Luster was captured and returned to the U.S. where he is now serving a 124-year sentence for rape.
According to Chapman’s wife, armed marshals collared Dog and their daughter’s boyfriend early this morning after coming through their door. An arrest warrant had been signed yesterday by a U.S. magistrate in Hawaii.
