Kim Kardashian is not to blame for the breakdown of her 72 day marriage, insiders tell Us Weekly magazine. According to friends of the reality star, the blame should be placed on Kris Humphries because his verbal abuse was what drove Kardashian to file for divorce.
"He belittled her in front of people. He'd call her stupid. It was truly sickening,” an insider claims.
"He tried to control Kim by bringing her down...He would say truly terrible things. One time, he said she had no talent and her fame wouldn't last,” the insider tells Us.
Humphries also allegedly called Kardashian a “fat ass” and refused to spend quiet nights at home, opting instead to spend his nights clubbing in New York and Los Angeles. When Kardashian asked him to stay home, another source says the basketball star “would tell her she was acting like too much of a wife and ‘get over it.’”
Neither Kardashian, 31, nor Humphries, 26, have commented.
