NY library chief gets busted for DWI

New York – President for the New York public library, Anthony Marx, was arrested for DWI Sunday night after he hit a garbage truck.

Marx, 52, was driving in Harlem in an Audi owned by the library when he backed into a sanitation truck, according to the New York Post. Marx was attempting to find a way around the New York marathon route when the accident occurred.

Police officer working on the marathon route responded to the scene. According to their reports, Marx had blood shot eyes and had the smell of alcohol on his breath, now he will need to hire a New York DWI attorney. Hours later a blood test revealed that his blood alcohol content was.19, over twice the legal limit.

The sanitation worker driving the truck, Franklin Hernandez, told the New York Post that he was going pretty fast and attempted to leave the scene. Hernandez got out of his truck and stood in front of Marx’s vehicle and said, “Don’t you move that car.”

Marx was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving under the influence and operating a car while impaired.

If a person’ career is in jeopardy because of an intoxicated driving charge, it is critical that they find an accomplished New York DWI lawyer to build their defense.

A New York DWI lawyer may be able to have the charges reduced and help their client avoid harsh penalties
