Greece, NY - A 53 year-old man was charged with DWI early Friday morning and police believe he was involved in two separate accidents before he was stopped.
Police were called to the area of West Ridge Road near Fetzner Road to investigate reports of reckless driving. They located the driver in question near Weiland Road and placed Jose Hernandez under arrest for DWI.
A short time later police discovered that Hernandez struck two vehicles on West Ridge Road before the police caught up with him. They found evidence that he may have been involved in other hit-and-run accidents that have not been reported.
Hernandez was charged with DWI, driving with a suspended license and one felony count of first degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
There was not report of his level of intoxication. Greece police arrested three other individuals for DWI that same night.
The courts treat all case differently and DWI attorney may be able to reduce a person’s charges if their blood alcohol content is not terribly high.
A DWI no matter the level of intoxication is a serious charge and without an experienced DWI lawyer you face stiff penalties which can include incarceration, probation, and loss of license along with heavy fines.
Many intoxicated drivers don’t realize how drunk they are until they get behind the wheel of their cars. DWI lawyers represent many clients who don’t think their driving was impaired.
