The Spine & Pain Institute of New York Announces New Location in Long Island, NY

The Spine & Pain Institute of New York has once again expanded, adding a location in Long Island, New York. The new center will be located at 184 Old Country Road, Mineola, NY 11501 and both consultations and procedures will be conducted here. Kiran V. Patel, MD and Kenneth B. Chapman, MD are now available to see patients at this location. The center will run bi-weekly, on alternate Wednesdays, seeing patients from 9:00am-5:00pm. Both new and existing patients, by appointment, are welcome at this new location.

Dr. Patel specializes in the treatment of both neck and back pain caused by spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, arthritis and post-surgery spinal pain. Other areas in which she has considerable expertise are cancer pain, atypical facial pain, headache, pelvic pain, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, neuropathic pain and peripheral neuralgias.

Dr. Chapman is an expert in the treatment of low back pain, joint pain, neck pain and multiple origin spinal pains. He also specializes in neuralgia (including occipital and facial neuralgia), Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy and various intractable pain syndromes.

Both doctors work very closely with spine surgeons to either avoid or delay surgery. They are highly experienced in using the most cutting edge treatments to minimize or eliminate pain entirely.
