The Artist, starring Jean Dujardin, Berenice Bejo, John Goodman, James Cromwell and Penelope Ann Miller, opens in theaters Friday, November 25. The drama, set in 1929 Hollywood, tells the love story of George, a married silent movie actor, and Peggy, an up and coming young actress. Their relationship is complicated by George’s marriage and the popularity of sound in films. George’s career begins to decline while Peppy’s career begins to rise.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 40 minutes and is rated PG 13 for a disturbing image and a crude gesture.
