Three Pedestrians Injured in Massachusetts Accident

Hull, MA – Police have reported that a 31 year-old woman and her two children were injured after being struck at the Nantasket intersection in an area near the Paragon Carousel.

The accident happened Tuesday evening around 6pm when a 61 year-old man driving a pickup truck slammed into them. The driver of the truck stopped after the accident.

The woman and an 11 year-old girl were taken by ambulance to the hospital with serious injuries. The other child a nine-year old boy had to be airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries. The police have not release their identities and are unclear if they are related. They also believe that they are not from the area and are living in Hull temporarily.

Police are reconstructing the accident and have not formally filed any charges.

Pedestrians are particularly at risk for incurring serious injuries if they are struck by a vehicle.  A number of factors can create a situation where they may be hit by a vehicle. If a driver is at fault for their injuries an accident attorney can file a lawsuit to obtain compensation to cover their medical costs.

Accident lawyers will apply their investigative skills to determine if a driver’s negligence caused the collision. Not only can an accident attorney work on litigation, but they are also able to negotiate with insurance companies to make certain accident victims receive a fair and just settlement for their suffering.
