ACO World Championships of Cornhole to be Hosted by Harrah's Tunica in Tunica, MS

Harrah's Tunica, Tunica, MS will see bags fly January 4-8th, 2012. American Cornhole brings its carnival of cornhole events, to Harrah's Tunica with the Sixth Annual ACO World Championships of Cornhole, 

Social cornhole players and the Pros will gather from across the country to compete for the Best in Cornhole bragging rights. There will be recreational and competitive championships titles with the King of Cornhole title representing the most prestigious award.

The ACO World Championships of Cornhole are being held in a southern state for the first time in its existence after being held in Las Vegas, NV and Elizabeth, IN the past five years. The ACO World Championships are about the fun of cornhole the sport and game.

There are plenty of options for all players to participate in the event.  It will consist of four singles tournaments and five doubles tournaments throughout the weekend.  There will be plenty of side games and challenges also taking place in the event center.  One of the game challenges featured at the event is the “Man Day Challenge” sponsored by Early Times Whisky as the official spirit sponsor of the World Championships.  Total cash and prizes awarded at the event will amount to $15,000 with the possibility of increasing based on total participation.

The best entry value is the “American Cornhole Crew” package.  This package enters a team of four individuals into a competition attempting to win the Farfsing Cup.  It will be based on the individual and team results in selected cornhole tournaments at the event.  This is the inaugural year of the Farfsing Cup Challenge and brings extra excitement for the event.
