Cowboys and Aliens: starring Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell and Abigail Spencer. The sci-fi action film follows a posse of cowboys as they fight against aliens who invade Arizona and plan to enslave humans. Rated PG 13
The Help: starring Emma Stone, Bryce Dallas Howard, Mike Vogel, Allison Janney, Sissy Spacek, Viola David, Octavia Spencer and Jessica Chastain. The drama, set in a small southern town in the 1960s, tells the story of how three very different women bond over a writing project that calls in to question society’s unspoken rules. Rated PG 13
The Hangover 2: starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha, Zach Galifianakis and Ken Jeong. The comedy follows Phil, Stu, Alan and Doug as they arrive in Thailand for Stu’s wedding. Stu is determined to avoid a disaster like their trip to Las Vegas, so he plans a safe pre-wedding meal. Stu’s plans go awry and it’s like Las Vegas all over again. Rated R
Mr. Popper’s Penguins: starring Jim Carrey, Carla Gugino, Madeline Carroll, Angela Lansbury and Ophelia Lovibond. The family comedy tells the story of a house painter who unwittingly comes into possession of a growing family of penguins. Mr. Popper soon trains his new friends to perform in their own traveling show, Popper’s Performing Penguins. Rated PG
The Debt: starring Helen Mirren, Tom Wilkinson, Marton Csokas, Jessica Chastain, Ciaran Hinds and Sam Worthington. The drama tells the story of three retired Mossad agents who lied to the world about a mission involving the capture of a Nazi war criminal. Thirty years after the mission, the lie comes back to haunt them and they must face the consequences of their decision. Rated R
Life Above All: starring Khomotso Manyaka, Keaobaka Makanyane, Lerato Mvelase, Harriet Lenabe and Aubrey Poolo. The drama is based on Allan Stratton’s award winning novel Chanda’s Secrets. It tells the story of a young South African girl whose fights against discrimination from her community after mother begins showing symptoms of AIDs. Rated PG 13
Bobby Fischer Against The World: The documentary chronicles the tragic life of World Chess Champion Bobby Fischer. The film explores Fischer’s historic 1972 chess match against Boris Spassky, his subsequent withdrawal from public chess competitions and his death in January 2008. Not Rated
Point Blank: starring Gilles Lellouche, Roschdy Zem, Gerard Lanvin, Elena Anaya and Mireille Perrier. The thriller follows a nurse in Paris as his very pregnant wife is kidnapped and he is forced to get a thief under police surveillance out of the hospital in three hours. Not Rated
