A boat carrying migrants from the Dominican Republic to Puerto Rico capsized Sunday, killing at least three people. Authorities say the boat was carrying about 100 people when it went down in waters off the northern city of Nagua.
Dozens of people were pulled from the water alive. Three bodies were recovered. Authorities continued to search Monday for 15 people who are missing. Rescuers were pulled from the water due to bad weather, but helicopters continued to fly over the scene.
The cause of the accident was likely bad weather. No other details have been released.
